Report a bug - Workflow Suite

Something in Workflow Suite is broken or behaving unexpectedly. The more precisely you can point at it, the faster we can fix it.

Before you send: Run history and troubleshooting covers the common reasons a workflow does not start or a step fails: a missing permission, a trigger filter that rejects the event, the first sighting of a change trigger, Shopify's approval for customer data, invalid JSON. If it is still wrong after that, the form above is the fastest route.

What makes a report easy to fix

  1. Your store domain, so we can find the run.
  2. The workflow's name, exactly as it appears in the app, and the step where it goes wrong.
  3. The run: its time, and the status shown in the run history (Failed, Not started, or Completed with the wrong result). The address of the run's page in your browser is even better.
  4. How it was started: by its trigger, with Run now, as a Test (preview or for real), in the debugger, or over the API.
  5. What you expected the workflow to do instead.

Useful things to attach

  • A screenshot of the run's page with the failing step opened, so its output and error are visible.
  • A screenshot of the step's settings in the editor.
  • The Trigger event of the run, with anything sensitive removed.
  • For a problem in the editor itself: what you clicked, and a screenshot of what happened.

Prefer another channel?

  • In-app chat - open any page of the app in your Shopify admin and use the chat bubble. It keeps the report tied to your store.
  • Email - support@codecreationlabs.com. Include your store domain so we can follow up.

Missing something rather than broken?

If the app works as designed but does not do what you need, use Request a feature instead. Bugs are looked at first.
